ROOM IX · THE STUDIO

Nine rooms ask you to look. This one asks you to take something home. The Studio is where the museum becomes an object you can own — a room pressed onto a sheet, a palette installed on your screen, a poem the museum wrote itself. Some of these things point back to the collection: the broadsides, the cities, the catalogue. Others point forward, to the day FARO stops curating other people's words and begins making its own. Nothing here is a souvenir. Each object is the museum, made portable — and the proof that taste, once gathered, can also be made.
